This package proposal is for a one-week holiday in the 7 Lidi of Comacchio. The beach destinations belonging to the Municipality of Comacchio showcase long, golden beaches and a wane sea bottom, perfect for a fully safe holiday. The 7 Lidi of Comacchio extend for 25km on the coast of the northern Adriatic Sea and are close to the unique environment of the UNESCO Biosphere of the Po Delta Park. For several years, the Lidi of Comacchio have been awarded with the "Bandiera Blu" (Blue Banner) recognition. It certifies the quality of waters, of the natural habitat and of the area's tourism services. During summer, the Lidi host many events such as street markets, fun fairs, the Notte Rosa, and many more that guarantee a fun and unforgettable holiday

The accommodation proposed in this offer is a Camping Village in Lido degli Scacchi, with direct access to the sea and only 200 meters away from the centre of the beach village. The accommodation has several private services that guarantee a relaxed and comfortable holiday; these services are a minimarket, café, restaurants, a pizzeria, entertainment for kids, a swimming pool and a private beach. The accommodation for the holiday week will be arranged in a fully-accessible mobile home.  

Our proposal features both a beach-holiday type of offer and excursions, which are described below:

• Comacchio Museum Pass, a single ticket to visit all three museums of Comacchio plus a guided boat trip in the Comacchio Lagoons:
  
  • The beat trip is available every day, so the client can decide the day and the time of the excursion. The Boat trips along the inner waterways of the mirror lagoon, a unique environment and spectacular home to flamingos. The guided tour includes a visit to the     fishing stations, the ancient "huts" set up as they were when fishermen in the past worked in these waters. The trip is 1 hours and 45 minutes long.

  • Museo del Delta Antico. The Museum is hosted in the imposing neoclassical architecture of the XVIII century Hospital of the Infirm (1771/1784). Through the exhibition of almost two-thousand finds, the museum narrates the history of the ancient Po Delta that, with its numerous navigable canals and land ways, over the centuries was an important trade junction that connected the civilizations of the Mediterranean with continental Europe

  • Manifattura dei Marinati. The Pickling Factory collects the traditions and culture of Comacchio. All year round you can visit the production cycle of anchovies, sands melts and especially eels, which are prepared in the Fire Room in four main steps: cutting, spitting, cooking and packaging

  • Museum of Contemporary Art 'Remo Brindisi'. Modern architecture surrounded by greenery in Lido di Spina between the coastal pinewood and the beach. It was built in the early seventies by architect and designer Nanda Vigo by the will of master Remo Brindisi (1918 – 1996). The collection, in which works made by Brindisi himself are on display, includes about two thousand works and is representative of the major national and international art forms of the 20th century.

• A journey into the placid waters of the Po. A real treat for those who love nature, this charming excursion onboard a small silent electrically-powered boat will lead you into the dense reed-thicket surrounding the mouth of the Po River at Volano. We will arrive till Torre della Finanza, an 18th Century building erected by the Papal State in order to control the access to the mouth of the Po di Volano.

• Dinner cruise on the Comacchio Lagoons at sunset. A real treat for those who love nature, this charming excursion onboard a small silent electrically-powered boat will lead you into the dense reed-thicket surrounding the mouth of the Po River at Volano. We will arrive till Torre della Finanza, an 18th Century building erected by the Papal State in order to control the access to the mouth of the Po di Volano.

The excursion package will make the visitor feel involved into the natural and historical beauties, cultural and culinary traditions of Comacchio and its territory.
