THE ARGENTA ECOMUSEUM

 

 

The Argenta Ecomuseum consists of three museum stations and a nature section. It consists of the Valley Museum and its Valleys, the freshwater wetlands that are part of the Po Delta Park, the Land Reclamation Museum, located at the Saiarino water-scooping plant, whose systems oversee the drainage of water between the Apennines and the Adriatic Sea, and the Civic Museum, with its art gallery and archaeological and artistic section, at the Church of San Domenico in Argenta.

 

The term "Eco-museum" expresses the idea that inspires it: a museum that goes beyond its architectural limits to expand into the surrounding territory and socio-cultural background, opening up to dialogue with the outside world.
