Delta del Po

Excursion to the Boscone della Mesola to admire the spring blooms! This Nature Reserve constitutes the largest wooded area in the Park district, a "relict" of the ancient thermophilic lowland forests that centuries ago covered a large portion of our plain, in this area included under the name of Bosco Eliceo. During our walk we will focus on the blossoms that colour the wood during spring: buttercups, wild orchids, hawthorns, cistus and many other species. We will unveil all the secrets of this wood, discovering what makes it unique in terms of ecology and vegetation as we walk along the paths of the Reserve.
