A tour of monumental bridges, historic workshops and authentic flavours that reveal the soul of the Delta.




During the walk through Comacchio’s historic center, you will admire the town’s most iconic landmarks: the Trepponti, the Ponte degli Sbirri, the Antico Ospedale degli Infermi, the Loggia del Grano, and the Cathedral of San Cassiano. The itinerary also includes a visit to the Museo Delta Antico, where an exhibition route rich in original artifacts, multimedia, and sensory installations guides visitors on a journey from the Etruscan civilization of Spina through the Roman era to the Early Middle Ages. The visit continues at the Manifattura dei Marinati, the heart of local traditions, with its historic rooms and the spectacular “Sala Fuochi,” where the ancient eel-processing cycle is illustrated. A tasting of pickling fish produced inside the factory will closed the visit.
