On the occasion of Notte Celeste 2026, Terme di Cervia and Terme di Castel San Pietro are presenting a special cycling tourism experience dedicated to wellness, nature, and the discovery of the Emilia-Romagna region.
On Saturday, June 27, a slow-paced cycling tour of approximately 70 km will take place, open to everyone, departing early in the morning from Terme di Cervia (Ravenna province) and arriving at Terme di Castel San Pietro (Bologna province) around lunchtime.
The route, created in collaboration with Davide Cassani, President of APT Servizi Emilia-Romagna and former professional cyclist, will cross both iconic landscapes and lesser-known corners of Romagna and Emilia: riverbanks, waterways, scenic countryside roads, and historic villages. The experience will also include a stop at a local winery featuring regional food and wine specialties, as well as a visit to the village of Dozza. From there, a beautiful route will lead participants to the final destination, Terme di Castel San Pietro, where they will be able to relax in the thermal pools and take part in the Notte Celeste events scheduled for the evening.
The experience will unfold at a relaxed pace, with organizational assistance along the route and a support service for the return journey, including bicycle transport.
The initiative also represents a first step toward a broader project dedicated to thermal cycling tourism in Emilia-Romagna: an experiential format that could, in the future, involve several thermal destinations across the region through dedicated itineraries and travel packages.
