The tour begins in the exhibition hall of the Centro Studi Plautini, located at the Sarsina Tourist Office, in the city center. After an introduction to the theater of Plautus, the Latin playwright born right here in Sarsina, the tour continues with a guided walk through the historic center until reaching the extraordinary National Archaeological Museum of Sarsina (currently closed for renovations), considered one of the most important in Italy for the richness and beauty of its artifacts. Here you can admire the Mausoleum of Rufus, an imposing funerary monument over 14 meters tall, and nearby the evocative Capitolium, recently unearthed, a silent witness to Roman grandeur.


And, having nourished the mind, it is time to delight the palate: the experience concludes with a mouth-watering tasting of wines and typical local products, an authentic encounter with the flavours of the local tradition, capable of leaving an indelible impression.
