Delta del Po

From 5 to 7 June, Marina Romea will host three days dedicated to birdwatching and nature photography with events and excursions around the Po Delta Park.

Three days in which the landscape becomes the protagonist: dawn and dusk excursions in the Pialassa della Baiona, the Comacchio Salt Pans, the Classe Pinewood, and the most evocative natural areas of the Delta will accompany participants in their discovery of wildlife in moments of great intensity and suggestion.

Alongside the outings in the area, the event will also propose a full calendar of workshops and meetings at the Hotel Meridiana in Marina Romea, dedicated to nature photography, shooting techniques, bioacoustics, and post-production. An opportunity for discussion and training with photographers, ornithologists and experts in the sector, flanked by important international imaging companies such as Sony, ADCOM, Eizo, Swarovski Optik, and Foto check-up.

Particular importance will also be given to the exhibition dimension, with the widespread photographic exhibition "Vita nel bosco" (Life in the Woods), which from 5 June to 12 September will animate Viale Italia with shots by numerous naturalist authors, transforming Marina Romea into an open-air gallery. The exhibition is curated by the photographers Alex Palara, Antonio Benetti, Fabio Barucci, Loris Costa, Luciano Piazza, Maurizio Bonora, Max Vertuani, Milko Marchetti, Roberto Sauli, Roberto Zaffi, Sergio Stignani, and Silvano Foschini.
