Delta Po

The Festival della Natura returns for its tenth edition: from 29 August to 18 October, this event invites visitors to discover the Po Delta area around Pomposa Abbey through a packed programme of excursions, workshops, guided tours and food and wine events.

Two months of activities to suit all tastes: birdwatching in the Canneviè-Porticino and Codigoro Garzaia nature reserves, boat trips along the Po di Volano, cycling and walking tours through riverbanks, woodlands and nature reserves, guided tours exploring the history of the Abbey and the surrounding area, educational and nature-themed workshops, and the traditional autumn festivals celebrating the Delta’s local produce.

A programme designed for everyone – families, nature lovers and leisurely walkers – which combines the discovery of the Po Delta’s extraordinary biodiversity with an exploration of its history, encompassing industrial archaeology, food and wine traditions, and the Abbey of Pomposa’s thousand-year history.
