Sunset at Boscoforte

Museo NatuRA

A walk in Boscoforte at sunset. We admire the sunset on the Boscoforte Peninsula, in the heart of the Comacchio Valleys, nestled within the Po Delta Park.
The walking route is about 5 km long and is easy. You reach the starting point on foot after a short walk along the bank of the River Reno.

This corner of paradise is an ancient dune ridge formed in Etruscan times and preserved by years of being closed to the public, which has allowed for a rich biodiversity of species.

The area is characterised by a remarkable variety of habitats linked to the simultaneous presence of fresh and brackish water: reed beds, saltwort thickets, salt marshes, sandy ridges and channels.

During the excursion, armed with binoculars and accompanied by our guides, you can identify the various species that inhabit this area.

The walking route is approximately 5 km long, very easy and on flat terrain. Suitable for everyone.
